The main aims of Winslow Big Society Group are to reduce isolation and loneliness, and to get people back outside again, meeting others and feeling better about themselves.
We can only carry out our activities because we have such a dedicated group of volunteers.
Our volunteers can choose what they like to volunteer to do with us; they have fun, can swap on rotas, and don’t have to have a regular weekly commitment. Volunteers can bake cakes, attend events and make teas, help on walks or at the lunches, play with the children at the Drop Ins, all sorts of different things.
