The Equipment Store now has a variety of mobility aids available for hire, including wheelchairs, wheeled zimmer frames, walking sticks, shower stools and crutches, thanks to the generous donations from various people in Winslow.  

We are looking forward to helping anyone who may need a temporary loan of equipment.

Most items can be borrowed by paying a small deposit that will be returned to you, if you require, on safe return of the item.

However, there is a charge of £10 if you wish to borrow one of the wheelchairs (which is still extremely good value).

This scheme is intended to be very much for short term loans (to tide people over whilst they set up a permanent solution). Moving forward hire will generally be a maximum of 2 weeks. By limiting the time items can be loaned out means we should be able to help even more people as we find there is a high demand for this service.
