Equipment Store now has a variety of mobility aids available for hire, including wheelchairs, wheeled zimmer frames, walking sticks and crutches, thanks to the generous donations from various people in Winslow.
We are looking forward to helping anyone who may need a temporary loan of equipment.
For most items we require a small payment and deposit.
Wheelchair loans cost £10 for up to 2 weeks with an additional deposit of £10.
This scheme is intended to be very much for short term loans (to tide people over whilst they set up a permanent solution). Moving forward hire will generally be a maximum of 2 weeks. By limiting the time items can be loaned out means we should be able to help even more people as we find there is a high demand for this service.
